In this video we show what to look for with the signs of heat rash, and how to treat a heat rash. Heat rash is an itchy rash of small red spots that cause a stinging or prickling feeling on the skin. Sometimes it’s called prickly heat.

- Wear loose cotton clothing.
- Use lightweight bedding.
- Take cool baths or showers.
- Drink plenty of fluid to avoid dehydration...
- Apply something cold, such as a damp cloth or ice pack (wrapped in a tea towel) for no more than 20 minutes.
- Tap or pat the rash instead of scratching it.
- Do not use perfumed shower gels or creams.
